Last Call for Pictures

The reunion video is in progress, but we know some of you are still trying to send in pictures to be included. This is a LAST CALL for high school photos that will appear in the Reunion Presentation DVD (please email them to NSHS1999@gmail.com). We will stop accepting photos on September 7th.

The video will be much more than still photos. There are video interviews with some familiar faces from the past. Two of those faces were at the head of the class. Hints: She taught U.S. History and Contemporary Issues and she taught Algebra, Calculus, and ACT Prep.

Remember the Chicken O's or that slab of pizza that was served daily for our nutritional intake? Well, our Reunion dinner is going above and beyond lunchlady land. Our Class Reunion Dinner Menu for Saturday night will be the following:

Start Spreading the News!! Lowered Ticket Prices $70/Couple and $40/Individual

The reunion is right around the corner and we know many of you are planning to attend. We have been working since August 2008 to plan a fun, exciting, and memorable 10 Year Class Reunion.

We have made some decisions in recent weeks that will allow us to lower the cost to $70 a couple, or $40 for an individual. If you have already paid, you will be reimbursed the difference. We want our 10 Year Class Reunion to be a memorable one, and that will only happen if you are there to celebrate with us!

We have planned a weekend full of events so you can reconnect with everyone from the Class of 1999. There is a great party in store for everyone on Saturday night. Our 10 Year Class Reunion is only going to happen once, so we truly hope you will come and reminisce with us!!!

To ensure that you have a reserved ticket for the reunion celebration, we would appreciate your payment as soon as possible. Again, the planning committee has logged many hours to make this reunion very special and full of surprises. Please help us in making this a very memorable event! The official invitations are being mailed out this week and next week. If we have your address, please be on the lookout for the invitation in a North Side yellow envelope. Inside, you will find the Reunion Weekend schedule of events and a Reunion Registration form. Please fill out the form and send it in with your check. If you pay online via PayPal, please use this online Registration Form and email it to NSHS1999@gmail.com after you pay. If you have any questions or need any help, please email us at NSHS1999@gmail.com for assistance. Again, if you know of any contact information regarding the "Missing" classmates please let us know. Dust off the old pictures and memories!

It's time to dust off those old pictures and memories. Though our time at North Side High School was short, the memories we made will last a lifetime. We are in the process of planning the reunion weekend and we need your help to make this class reunion a great one.

We need your high school candid photos and any current photos that you want to share. Please EMAIL your photos to nshs1999@gmail.com as soon as possible. We are trying to gather them all before July 27th. Please include "Reunion Photos" in the subject line. (We are accepting scanned pictures too, so don't hold back send in as many pictures as you can.) We have attached some pictures to jog your memories of our days at the Reservation. Please send us your pictures, even if you can't make the reunion. DVDs will be available to buy.

We are also encouraging everyone to send in their payments as soon as possible to secure your spot! Please notice the price change! Official Invitations are being mailed out in the coming weeks. Welcome Back Indians

Welcome back to the Reservation, Class of 1999! It is hard to imagine that it has been almost 10 years since the last time we were all together dressed in our graduation gowns. In preparation for our 10 Year Class Reunion, Martinez Chatman Addae has assembled committees and organized the planning process. If you are interested in joining a committee or assisting in any way, please email Martinez at the Class Reunion general email address NSHS1999@gmail.com.

Since we are in the beginning phases, we need to get the word out to our fellow classmates. Please spread the word about the class reunion and pass along the blog address (http://nshs1999.blogspot.com/) to others. We would like to keep everyone updated on the planning process as we go along.

Priority # 1 for the reunion planning process is to find everyone in our graduating class. We are trying to gather contact information on all of our classmates. Priority # 2 is finding out our collective resources. We are seeking any resources or assistance to keep the event costs at a minimal. The date is tentatively set for a weekend in September 2009, more than likely the weekend of 19th. Currently, the Entertainment Committee is working on the event location and the Communications Committee is working on how to get the word out about the reunion.
